What if your dog is accused of biting an animal or human?

Anything that helps protect you and your dog in instances involving Animal Services. For example, maybe someone has filed (or you believe may file) a complaint with Animal Services and you want to know what to do if an officer comes to your door or calls you. Maybe you have already been visited and/or received a violation notice. Or -- hopefully not -- an officer has already impounded your dog. (IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE YOUR DOG, DO NOT— UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES -- NO MATTER WHAT THEY TRY TO SAY OR DO--GIVE YOUR DOG TO ANIMAL SERVICES. TELL THEM YOU ARE CONTACTING A REPRESENTATIVE WHO WILL CONTACT THEM ASAP. IF YOUR DOG BIT SOMEONE, PROMISE TO DO A HOME QUARANTINE FOR 10 DAYS.
